Bit of a smaller update this week, and I do apologize about the lateness. We have booze, women, and fast cars to blame for that.

This week, we have another article by one Mr. Newman. It’s a review of Prototype 2, in keeping with our love for sequels around here. Better get that bio ready, Sean.

In other, slightly more disturbing news, we have a nice Mother’s Day story from our good friend Jew, just in time to miss the holiday. Sorry, mom. I also have some plans to get some stuff up sometime mid-week, but I’ll keep those intentionally nebulous.

We here at Robot Boombox have been pretty busy as of late. As you may have noticed, the Rants section has transformed, Michael Jackson-like, into the Audio section. And the audio section itself holds our first real podcast, The Concast, where our hosts Mike, Ian, and Beau discuss anime in its various forms.

But that’s not all! Act now, and you’ll receive an updated About section featuring bios of the Robot Boombox staff. Just pay separate shipping and handling. I also updated the Articles section to have the newest content at the top, and you can expect a new article from yours truly sometime tomorrow.

Finally, one Sean Newman steps into the ThunderDome (…I think we’re calling it that) with an article on bear fighting. Will he be around for more articles? I suppose that all depends on what all five of you think.

For this week’s round of updates, our good friend Jew provides us with some insight into the anime biz from the perspective of a guy with a connection to bittorrent and nothing better to do. First up is kid-friendly drivel, and then there’s drivel marketed to that one weird kid in the Linkin Park T-shirt who sits at the back of the bus and smells like Lipton soup mix and old cat hair. Both are definitely worth a read.

In other news, next week we can expect a much bigger update. I’ll finally be getting around to adding a proper About section, and I’ll be writing a couple things as well (Me? Writing articles on my own site? You don’t say!). You can also expect a few other interesting goodies, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise.
